Tenda Wireless Ethernet Bridge

why bro?
Had one set and lost the one plug in a power surge. Actually worked quite well.
Do you suggest something else?

I suggest TP-Link, best bang for buck. Tenda is just crap. I may be a bit biased but I advise people to stay away from Tenda, Dlink, Netgear.

TP-Link, Huawei & Asus, those are brands I recommend most of the time.

Appreciate the advice.
Can you advise which TP link product to get and where do you suggest I get it from (i'm in Jhb)

Can you provide us with more information WRT why you don't recommend them other than them being "just crap"?

The performance is not worth the money you pay for it.

They break after a while.

They don't integrate well with other brands.

This is what I've experienced, there are other threads on the forum about Tenda's quality.

Also forgot about Trendnet, that's another brand I'll never recommend.

Do you actually have personal experience with Tenda or are you simply discounting them for being chinese and not a known brand?

I've installed plenty of Tenda kit (not this product specifically) and find they generally offer much better bang for buck and performance and I've not had a failure with anything yet.

The firmware can be a bit Engrish...but who cares.

D-Link I completely agree with though.

I've mostly worked with the cheaper units. I have nothing against Chinese brands. My friend had one of their usb WiFi adapters that kept dropping the connection and I've used one of those 3G routers which was just a horrible experience.
