Tenet

Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt is a perfect example of a sci-fi time conundrum film that makes sense.

Heck. Even Fringe the TV Series had a better plot and execution regarding time based events than Tenet.

I'm really disappointed in Nolan.
Now I doubt all his future projects since he lost the flare he had in Inception.

Inception remains one of the best films ever made.

Yeah, this looked great in the trailer - a cool premise.
I didnt finish the movie. I got about half way through and had completely lost interest and abandoned it.
It seemed so disjointed and I found it very off putting/distracting.
Definitely not on my recommend list.

@RedViking
We should "ask my boradband" for the top 2020 movie, but looking at the list the came out you are probably right. Tenet does as I've said quite well for what it presents, but the majority won't buy into that. It's as Denis Villeneuve said... people just don't like that kind of thing.

I thoroughly enjoyed Tenet, the music and the sound mix. I live for sound though.

Extraction was also an awesome 2020 movie, camera and stunts wise.

I also thought Tenet was the best movie I have watched this year. I went to the movies during lockdown in the first few weeks after the cinema opened again. Wanted to watch Mulan as it was the only movie I recognized, my friend wanted to watch this. Pitched up and only Tenet was available at a suitable time. Didn't expect much, but when I left I had that "Wow" feeling. Had to explain a bit after the movie, but my friend could atleast follow enough to make it enjoyable for him.

What is the other contenders WW1984? I haven't watched it yet, will probably only get around to it when I get back to Gauteng, Western Cape is a bit scary with the Covid situation.

Problem with Tenet is that it takes an already impossible situation like time travel and complicates it further to the point of becoming a parody of time travel.

Tsek.
Inversion is for stoners and loons.
I'm both of those and hate inversion.
Would have been cool to see this supposed future where the inversion occurs from. Probably didn't have the budget and cast for it.

I liked it, mindless entertainment. Worked for me. To each his own. Oh, except for the SF, and Wokes and Millenials.
