Tenet

Finally got around to set time to watch this & take it in. Clever concept & execution, really good stunt work, cast was convincing (I am not kidding). Personally I felt the ending was a bit unsatisfying. Multiple viewings will be needed to truly appreciate.

I didn't enjoy it - maybe I just eventually lost a bit of concentration while watching it. But I'm not even excited to give it a 2nd viewing.

Denzel's kid is a 1 trick pony. Only enjoyed his work in "Ballers". Total miscast to carry a Nolan epic.
But I wasn't feeling anything remotely enthralling as what I did with Inception (to name but 1 of them).

From the opening scene, I was kinda let down. I was like, "Really? This feels like Bane in The Dark Knight Rises" Felt like throwing up in my mouth a little.

As a director, he's not done anything new here. Bigger stunts, weirder plot - so what?
It's like he's looping in on himself - creatively speaking - when these filming sequences and the audio along with it, just feels like something else I've seen. It leaves a shyte taste in my mouth.
It was kinda over then already for me in the beginning.

Still I hoped, but the lead actor's monotone performance just made it worse.

Maybe I will watch it again - but it'll be on the backburner for when there's really nothing else to watch.
I want my 3hrs back! Or however long that movie was :p
