Terios or Caliber

Every time I see a new Sportage on the road I'm more impressed - it's such a nice looking vehicle. I think the Hyundai IX35 is over-styled a bit, but the Kia is damn sexy.

I should've added earlier that you should seriously consider going nearly new rather than out the box. It's quite amazing how much more car your money will buy if you look at something 6 to 12 months old.

Funny I was chatting about that this morning. I am already finding the new Sportage over styled and ugly.

Mark my words, these designs are not going to look good in a year or two.

As for blowing 200 k on somebody who hardly uses a car is just a bloody waste of money IMHO.

One word. Tribeca. :p

I would go for a demo Caliber if you can find one. Interior is a bit plastic but everything else is gr8. Best service/warranty/support I had thus far. Almost like a small Jeep

You are honestly suggesting someone touch a Dodge that isnt a Dodge?

Have you seen a Calibre in an accident? they're bloody scary

Still think it's rather pretty...

C'mon! That butt is butt ugly and that bling face is going to date by the second! :p

All that being said, I really like the door handles, they are timeless....;)

Nah, I dunno. It wouldn't qualify as a timeless design, sure, but then what small SUV-ish car would? I think it's an extraordinarily difficult form to do truly inspiring things with.

Given that, and taking into account where KIA was but a few years ago with their utter lack of a design identity, I think they've done an admirable job of late. Their current lineup is instantly recognisable & not bad looking in my book.

I've always found the Terios to be overpriced, and really doubt the quality of a Dodge.

I would suggest a Qashqai, I find it to be practical and a good looker, not sure of pricing. Or maybe a used Rav4, I mean its not like she's gonna drive it often and you will get good resale on the Rav.
