Funny you mention firefly, i just rewatched it this past week and it was even more brilliant second time around.... cant believe they cancelled it. One of the best series ever imo, the verse had so much potential.
 
This show was god awful, this has got to be the worst moment in the entire show

Terra Nova may be saved by Netflix:

The dinosaurs may be down, but they’re not out!

Netflix is in early talks with 20th Century Fox TV to keep Terra Nova alive, three days after the pricey prehistoric drama was cancelled by Fox.

According to our sister site Deadline.com, the discussions are very preliminary and it’s unclear if they will develop into a full-fledged negotiation.

The news is nonetheless encouraging, particularly considering 20th and Netflix recently brokered a similar agreement to revive another series axed by Fox, Arrested Development.

Terra Nova was very bad, still enjoyed it to an extent, but it was just bad writing. Ugh....

Sometimes it takes a bit of perseverance. It took me three attempts before I was convinced to carry on with Game of Thrones. Pilots can be a bit convoluted to try and cram in an entire backstory.

seriously lots of haters here, and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the show did turn a profit and had a huge following, even with badly animated fish

Well I think think the main dudes wife is really hot. Their oldest daughter is not bad, but the wife is hot. Reason enough keep me watching.
 
Eish, though the show has so much potential in the beginning.
Then it became a family type offering and went downhill from there, who ever thought of placing that animated fish in there should never work in film again!!!
 
Terra Nova was ok when they spoke about travel to the past was one way and communication to the future was impossible because they were on different timelines. Then they lost the plot and threw that out the window later in the series. Good riddance, I say.

V or The Event would have been a better option to renew for new seasons than Terra Nova.

two way time travel is a big no-no but at least it was that they could only exist in one timeline.

Worst example of time travel: Heroes.

Hiro holding himself as a baby... what a farce...

Well from what I understood, they did not so much travel in time as traveled to a parallel universe that resembled earth in the past.

So its more a case of M-theory and a multi-verse vs jumping back in time.
