Terrible Afrihost Support

i was all ready to sign up before walking into this thread...are these issues unique to afrihost or is everyone struggling?

Hi again all, I'm writing to let you know that, even after having contacted the Afrihost rep on this forum Eugene, via private message as he requested, my problem has still not be resolved.
I'm sad to say that, after having been an Afrihost customer since 2008, with two fibre connectivity packages, two domains hosted and a mobile data connection, I am left with no choice but moving all my business to another ISP. My first choice would be Vox; any other suggestions?

I'm happy to report a happy ending to this story; AfriNatic remained in contact with me until the issue was finally resolved. Turned out it wasn't even an Afrihost or FrogFoot issue; merely a WiFi AP hardware issue which Eugene so kindly attended to. I've not moved any of my services from them yet, and after this experience, have no intention to do so. Afrihost is the best! Gian, please give Eugene a bonus.

Thanks for the feedback Charl.

I'm just glad I could get the issue resolved. I do apologise for the inconvenience you experienced but I appreciate the opportunity for us to make it up to you going forward! :)

Hi so just some feedback.

A work order has been created to resolve this link congestion issue. I will have more feedback soon. ;)

Hi.. Issue is still not resolved. Nceba on my ticket (6th, 10th consultant, I have honestly lost track) and asks me for more tests.

This is the biggest joke of a service I have ever experienced.

I advise anyone reading this thread to stay as far away from Afrihost as possible and I will create a new thread soon imploring the whole of fokken Africa to stay away from these clowns.

Also regret going back to Afrihost. I've sent ~5 emails over the last 3 days. Each time getting a follow up email that asks me to confirm some info. And then you never hear back from them again. And my line is still not activated, even though Afrihost was the last ISP to own it.

That does not sound good. I want to assist. Can you send me your details like your clientzone email via private message so I can have a look at what happened?

Thank You AfriNatic for the support, and informing me of the actual process taking place.

Now connected. AfriNatic was able to organize OpenServe service registration within a day.
Appreciated :)
