Terrible Service

Good day everyone. I am not one to complain but today I have reached boiling point!! I have logged a call to report a fault with our ADSL line...it's not working and we have no internet for 11 days. The fault was logged on the 13th July and to date nothing has been resolved. According to the service center the fault is still at the "testing center" and no technician has yet been assigned. I need answers. My son is back at varsity and need the internet to complete assignments. What the heck? :mad::sick::confused: I need this fixed.

Good Luck with that I was without internet for 3 months, my fault was escalated countless times untill I had to involve Telkom's head of customer service which sorted everything out. Pray that the fault is not cable related as you will wait for months or simply be told that they do not replace faulty copper anymore. Anyway goodluck and I hope your son gets sorted out.

I am sometimes ashamed to be a member of this community with these childish replies.:(

Here is a new member in dire need, with no prior knowledge of previous inane replies to others seeking help, information or assistance which too was inundated with similar types of replies, expecting him/her to understand this unnecessary bantering.

You should get RAIN LTE month to month and a router in the meantime.

Try it for your son to carry on with.

What does your SP say? Telkom is a pain to work with unfortunately but maybe your SP can push them. Telkom probably don't have qualified or enough technicians in your area.
