Terror attack outside U.K. Parliament

In other news, it was confirmed that the vehicle involved was not a ford Kuga and the incident will not be treated as an attempted bombing.
Ford will however as a precaution close down the whole Westminster and request alll owners to take Ford Kugas to their dealerships for safety checks. This is pure coincidence. Owners will not be reimbursed for the inconvenience.

I would be happy with him being in jail for the rest of his life....but only if he can be tortured every now and then. Perhaps then.

Are you suggesting that what happens in prison is not torture?

I've seen on the french newspapers that policemen are amongst the injured as well as 3 french high school students including one critical.

Confirmed by french home affairs for the students, they were in a school trip.

They're saying one 'white' male and one 'black' male on BBC.
That just means BBC has one liberal journalist who is making a gamble that the perp is a loner and not Muslim so he can say I told you so. The odds at this stage looks 99% like a radical Islam attack.

So I assume this is linked to the laptop/tablet flying ban yesterday (day before)? Seems they got the intel wrong.

IMO that's neither here nor there. They're in the same category as Jeffrey Dahmer.

According to the Daily Mail, the policeman inside the Parliamentary precinct has died from his stab wounds.

Deaths - 2 (Woman who got run over by a bus, and stabbed police officer)
Critically Injured -3 (One woman fell of the Westminster Bridge into the Themes and is being treated on a nearby dock.)
Lesser Injuries - 7

The assailant is alive but in critical condition.

Nice vacation coming up for him soon. Some nice quality time with some very special people.

I'm not so sure if this man of peace™ will survive, looking at a closer image of him he has a wound in the middle of his chest.

From Twitter, look at the wound under the glove, right between the nipples.

He's not a real Muslim. With that fat stomach he doesn't believe in fasting.

Bullets also travel around quite a bit as you already know. Likely tore up a nice path of destruction once it hit his sternum. I'm really hoping he lives. He may not know it yet but he will regret this for the rest of his life.

From what's said, the Police Officer in this article has died.

Tobias Ellwood, the foreign minister, attempted to save the life of the policeman who was stabbed just inside the gates of the parliamentary estate.

The Tory MP attempted to give the officer mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and stemmed the blood flow by applying pressure to the wounds.

Mr Ellwood – himself a former soldier – remained with the injured officer waiting for the air ambulance to arrive, which landed in Parliament Square.

He was later seen with bloodied hands talking to officers close to the incident before returning to the Foreign Office.

Anyone else wondering if May might just respond to such a threat by triggering article 50 earlier than the 29th?

Not that a post-brexit world would have made any difference to this sort of attack, just that it plays into the concerns that motivated brexit in the first place.
