Two knives visible on the ground close to the attacker.

Anyone else wondering if May might just respond to such a threat by triggering article 50 earlier than the 29th?

Not that a post-brexit world would have made any difference to this sort of attack, just that it plays into the concerns that motivated brexit in the first place.

What would it change except the Brexit being in effect on 22 March 2019 or on 29 March 2019 ?

That would mostly look very amateur.

I don't even see the link between this terrorist act and Brexit...

Are you thinking that the attack was carried out in the name of the EU?

The officer died as well as the stabber apparently. Also a woman was killed on the bridge plus one other. 4 people dead so far.

Nothing in reality, psychologically it could change the people's resolve quite a bit. Doing it early, in the face of such an attack, sends the message that Britain believes it is best equipped to fight terror as an independent nation state. That Britain was right to exit the EU which is bending over backwards to let these attacks happen in the name of helping "refugees", and Britain will be safer once it is again the master of its own domain.

Again, in reality it wouldn't make any difference at all, but it is a chance to unite the people behind the course that has been decided.

You never heard the rhetoric of controlling Britain's borders again during the referendum campaigns?!? :wtf:
Do you think this cretin was a British born citizen or did he somehow cross the very borders that were being debated during brexit?

1 + 1 = ?

New report 4 people dead, 20 injured

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...ent-attacker-westminster-terror-a7644506.html

The number includes the police officer who was stabbed and his attacker, Scotland Yard's top anti-terror officer Mark Rowley said.

The other two victims are understood to have died on the bridge, he added.

He also said at least 20 people had been injured.

Mr Rowley also said police believed there to have been only one suspect, although he said they were carrying out thorough checks.

The attacker rammed a car into members of the public on Westminster Bridge before entering the grounds of the Houses of Parliament and stabbing a police officer before he was shot.

Eyewitnesses described scenes of terror when gunfire rang out as the attacker approached a second officer within yards of the Houses of Parliament.

So you're in the UK's IC loop on the perps identity. Awesome. What's his name and where's he from?

Link to where it's been established he isn't British or legally in the country from somewhere like Pakistan...

That's some weak sarcasm right there :crylaugh:
The terrorist version of Coulter's law is currently in effect, feel free to bet against the inevitable conclusion.

Yeah, because a people that's just been terrorized is going to insist on facts before drawing conclusions ... :crylaugh:

Trump having a field day now, words coming out of his mouth, "I told you".
He will probably get support for his comments to ban Muslims for the US.

Whoa there cowboy. Sure there was a little sarcasm in my post, and perhaps I should have phrased it like Dave did right after me... But could you point out where I asserted this f**ktard was jihadist/right wing extremist/anything other than the Kurgan from Highlander actually?
I'll happily wait 'till someone makes a statement... Without pre-judging anything until then, or as you put it, ? + ? =

Nope, it's a radical Islamist terrorist attack, I said that as soon as the first photos were on twitter, but your idiotic crap of trying to link it to Brexit or EU free movement makes you a moron.

The odds this guy is a Belgian or German at this stage are pretty remote unless you have information you want to share? More likely he's from somewhere like Pakistan and arrived here as a legal immigrant or asylum seeker and neither avenue will close after the UK leaves the EU.

Keep your Brexit crap in the Brexit thread or your posts on Stormfront...

Pretty sure he's re-written 100 tweets already, trying to make this ALL about him.

These fools are achieving just the opposite from their objective. I was living in London in 2005. I was on Tower Bridge tube station platform when the bomb went off at Aldgate just one station away. It was scary and I will never forget the sight of an empty Trafalgar Square being traversed by a lone military truck. It was amazing the way the British pulled together afterwards. They are a strong people.

The good old stiff upper lip.
