Please provide instances that have happened to you, maybe if there's enough of us we can do a poll. Besides, might give others info of the institutions they will to attend.
I nominate UWC. Faculties and departments themselves are fine but the admin? These are what i had to contend with...
1 - Was a third year student when they told me i didn't provide them with my matric results. Logic was evidently wasted when i asked them,"So genius, how in the world am i here?" after which they just shrugged their shoulders. Like telling someone there parents never had sex before they were born(no test tube baby replies PLZ!). Clearly they threw it away but passed the buck onto me.
2 - Lost my room on res twice due to someone's incompetence. And if you enquire, always the same reply in shoulder-shrugging.
3 - Withholding student information, which i paid for i may add, because they had more pressing issues with same game/ solitaire.
4 - I'm graduating. I was told i'd get all info, tickets, etc. by mail. Knowing UWC, i rather went in and got what was needed, altho they friendly reminded me it was in the post. Friday is the ceremony, nothing's come in the mail yet.
That's just this year(and off the top of my head), had run ins the last two years as well worse than above. Have to add there are no rules which govern these "service providers" of UWC. Always either their way or the highway. Bunch of incompetent clods!!!
