It my plesure, its really a cool game...

You have to try it online though, i heard its so much better then!
 
I played for 8 hours straight, finally got brave enough to challenge a peep. Challenged, nothing. A lot of attempts later, one finally accepted, the thing started and the next thing the race was cancelled. Did this 3 times.

So then Iried waiting by the online race points, and .. after almost falling asleep, gave up.

Where do you meet to race?
 
I also play online. Online nick is CowleyTheMan...Maestr0 was taken. Currently sorting out my simulation rig and will then race online again. Using the G25 to race...so watch out when you race against me...I'm damn quick off the line. It helps to have clutch pedal and six gear gated shifter. ;)

Hey stoke,

that sucks.... but i guess you should just join some clubs and role around and drive with guys for a while, then maybe later you will be able to get more races!

Or it could be that you are not on a good level yet, get to pro or higher, maybe then the people will think its more of a challange to race against you then...

What level are you on now?
 
@ You guys playing online...R U jammin with Xbox or on PC? I know you have listed pc specs in your sig but you could have a console too...

I looked around but it looks like you have to have a gamespy ID and I dont like paying for things like that :p

Are you sure you're playing against people and not bots with people names? CAn you access the online section in your garage??

Yo Average, sheesh dude. If you start a bike club it better include a "Learner" sections too lol. Damn its hard to do endos, whats the furtherest endo you have done? Do you go for quite a distance or more of a "stoppie" as the amercians call it??

Hey MeNeZ,

I have it on PC, im not a big console fan... I love my PC!

Yeah, you have to have a gamespy ID to play online, but its free though.

Jip, you play against other people, you can chat to them too!

Dont worry about the "learner" section, when i start it, just join and i will help you out! Practise endos and wheelies in the 3rd person view, that way you can get used to knowing how much gas to give and brake power and when, then when you got it down, go to helmet view or onboard and do it like that, its more realistic then and harder, but way much cooler!!

i can ride for really far on my front wheel, you just have to lean forward and brake hard to get it all the way up and then go very easy on the brakes and if its on the right level, you can leave the brake and it will "free" for a bit, thats the way to do it when you want to go far...

Hope this helps, but as soon as i get the original to play online, i will let you guys know and then we hit it... But i think it costs like 700 000 to start a club though
 
I will try again with that gamespy id thing. But when I regirsted it kept pointing to me to the subscriptions sections?

Do you search for servers or does it just join like a big local thing?
 
With the gamespy subscription thing.... There must be a button to skip it or something similar, or otherwise just try loggin in with ur details and see what happens... i registered for free, was a while ago though so i cant remember exactly what they say!

I think you join like one international server or something where everyone is on....

But the connection is seamless, so i dont think there will be lag... Well, no one has ever complained about only before that ive seen anywhere..
 
Got TDU for PC and it's better than Carbon in terms of style but it just does not click with me...and I'm not really into online anyway...I prefered NFS Most Wanted and Underground 2
 
Well, everybody has got their own opinions of games...

But i love it man, especially riding with the bikes!

Like for instance last night, i just cruised around with my Kawasaki ZX10R and me and a guy hooked up and i learned him how to do nice wheelies and stoppies!

Its really fun for me
 
Well I wouldn't get TDU. Played it, NFS (all), PGR4, Forza2 and so on, but I believe the best race game at the moment is GRID.
Nothing is better, you have all the good aspects of the other games and beyond. :D
