Hi All

How can you test if your Intel P45 chipset is faulty or not ?
Is there a utility program to test chipsets ?
( for example Memory use Memtest86 )

Depends what specifically you're testing for. You'll have to test each component individually. Perhaps an explanation of the symptoms would allow us to help?

I installed Win XP No SP, got BSOD error pci.sys,
resolved that by slipstreaming Win XP with SP2, that was April 2009,
was working fine until about a month ago when I tried to play a movie,
which rebooted the PC with BSOD but error was to quick to get a report,
then just did not play the movie, then two days ago I tried to install
Corel Draw x4 and PC just rebooted BSOD but error was to quick to get a report, event viewer doesn't give the error either, checked memory with
Memtest86+ v2.11 memory fine, no viruses.
PC works so of fine.
But when you go into Explorer and check what's in a folder it takes a few seconds to register.

Specs :
Intel S775 Core2Duo E8200 2.66GHz 1333MHz

Transcend 2 x 1GB DDR2-800MHz Memory
Gigabyte 9400 PCIe VGA Card
Gigabyte 585Watt PSU
WD 400GB HDD
SG 320GB HDD
Sony DVD-RW 200s

Right click on 'My Computer', click on 'properties', click the 'Advanced' tab, under the 'Statrtup and Recovery' section click 'settings'. In the section on 'System Failure' un-check 'Automatically Restart'. Click 'OK' and/or 'Apply' until all windows are closed.

Then try to replicate your problems, if possible. That should give you the BSOD without restarting, allowing you to record all the relevant information on the screen.

Another thing, are you overclocking or running any component beyond it's specs?
