Hi people,

To help me decide which ISP im gonna take i want to ask if some of the u sers here can help me test a few things.

First i looked at what im gonna use my inet for exactly, this would be playing WoW and leeching from my servers located in NL. I would also concider setting up a VPN with my serverpark in NL.

Can i ask the users here if they could provide me with ping stats and traceroute information, and the ofcourse clearly state their ISP used whilst doing this ? This would help a lot :-)

I have the following sources we can use there. (Both located in NL but different networks.)

195.22.103.33
81.171.102.12

Time: 07:42
ISP: Satelite from work ;-)

So please see if you can get round to this, your information is very valuable to me. Especially the non IS providers :)

Thanks xdsluser. Doesnt seem all to bad :)

Im really looking for one from Imagine-IPS so if any users out there have dsl fromt hem pls help meout here :)

Its basically the low maintenance part of my company. All managed machines (newscluster, webcluster and a few gameservers) so nothing spectacular :-)
But i have to be able to connect via same VPN else i cant do anything on them :)

EDIT:

@XDSLUSER:

As one can see in the traceroute that youve pasted above you guys use MTN Network Solutions as a uplink provider. Which does not go via sat but via fibre, acress the ocean that is. This does result is a dramatic difference in latency`s. Which is what we all want ;-)

The one thing that i dont like is the way you split the traffic , the whole 25/75 thing. I mean ill be doing most of my business on Int. grounds and barely anything local. Ive called XDSL sales and asked them to work out something more to my likes, but apparantly 100% INT is not possible. /cries

That is one damn interesting traceroute. I like how the pings are really really low, good for international gaming I'd say.
