Also the way people are changing lanes without indicating or anything is just crazy. Is that India?

This sport was much easier on old numeric keypad phones where you knew where the buttons were and could feel your way through a message. Touchscreens - not so much & too many people insist on taking up the challenge in moving traffic and then giving other people the finger when things go pear-shaped.

^^
I absolutely hate using my phone while driving, but on the one or two occasions thatI had no choice, I have found that swyping really helps

I recently started using SIRI when in a car but stopped and the texting works well.

Stopped what? Also - when using SIRI - can you request that your words are repeated / the message is read back to you before you send it or is the recognition good enough to trust it the first time round?

The Car at red light, sorry only saw that now.
Have not fiddled too much with it but it has picked up on everything i have said, still getting out of shouting mode, I tried it with skype and it works very well.
You just look doff shouting when no one else is in the car or room with you. lol

I was actually thinking about this this morning in traffic. Ive been noticing more some drivers that edge closer to the middle line, with the look to jump lanes. Head checking the mirror, almost as if they are ready to pounce on an open spot. Then one appears and they indicate for like a second and change lanes.

Why not put indicator on earlier to allow people to make room so you can move in? Because it appears that in Cape Town anyway, if you indicate your intention to change lanes, cars in said lane actually speed up to prevent them pulling in. So to avoid that happening, dont indicate, people then seem to be oblivious to the gaps they create. If they know someone is looking to poach it, they wont let it happen. Selfish cape townians..

Happens here in JHB too. I normally just indicate and if I see someone in the lane I want to move into suddenly speed up to close the gap - I just start moving over anyway.

You lose the element of surprise. :p

No but seriously - a sizable portion of GP drivers will intentionally accelerate to close the gap.

Tell me about it, almost rear-ended a bus because of some fscktard doing just this, and I still had the decency to give sufficient warning of my intentions... maybe that was the problem?

Siri is much more accurate in iOS 7. It never used to understand me, but how it does. iOS 7 will be available soon. By the way, this was all spoken and not typed.
