Wow, I'm amazed!!!

Thank you to Timothy at iBurst for responding to my web request in an extremely prompt and professional manner, and for making the necessary arrangements for an antenna for my UTU modem.

I must agree, the few times I contacted iBurst they were able to help me promptly.

andrewr, do you get an antenna for the usb modem? (other than the one it ships with)

Since we are in the thanking Iburst mode. They seem to be living up to their promise of beefing up communication.

There was an electrical outage on the Hyde Park base station yesterday. It was nice to see the red dot on the network status page, and even nicer to see a report on the incident page. Of course, it was horrible that the outage occured, but at least I could see that it was not a problem on my side. I could see that it was being worked upon, and I could see when the problem was expected to be resolved.

A vast improvement.

I went to look at the incedents page, an they realy are beefing that up. theyve got alot more errors and all the smaller ones that irritate you when they are there like latency etc..

BTW, I notice most of their problems are caused by backhaul faliures. Exactly whos fault is that or what is it?
It implies the connection within SA right, so Ibursts connection, or their Telkom connections..
