Well, I would just like to say thank you! Thank you for being there for me, through thick and thin, when I was up and when I was down, when my wife packed up and left me, when I was lonely and alone, when I was sad and despondent, when I thought that life was over, always and through all the years, I have turned to this forum, and time and again, I have received encouragement, advice and from some of you, some life changing inspiration.
This forum has been the one constant I have had in my life since 2006 and although it sounds really sad, bad and like I have had nothing else to hold onto (which is not the case by the way), I would like to say thank you to all of you, for the encouragement and sometimes deserved flaming
) and for being part of my life and for making me feel connected to so many unknown people, all of whom, are living their own lives, and who have seem fit to share their knowledge and experience with me, from all across the country.
While being quite a bit older than most on this forum, and often having a good chuckle at some of the youngsters here and what they have to say and their advice, I have always turned to this forum for comfort and a feeling of belonging, a sense of belonging that each and every one of you have entrenched by your advice and presence here on this forum.
From TK to every other thread that may seem senseless and without merit or reason, from TKIL to the Liberian , they all tie into a sense of community, a feeling of not being alone, of being conjoined to so many, yet knowing so few while feeling so at home at the same time......
So the point of all of this? Just to say thank you, to all of you, for just being here, for being a part of my life, unbeknownst to most of you, for being the one constant in my life that I knew I could always turn to in times of trouble and strife. So once again to all the members of this forum: what you say means something, your presence here has meaning and importance, even if you don't think so. so carry on!! Inspire, Create, Ask, Question, Give Advice, Encourage and talk to your fellow forummites, you never know what you say, may just save a life!!
