Thanks for leaving, Everybody!

Have moved across to ADSL 512 with IS and must say the local browsing is noticably faster - can believe how much faster images load (was using a local only guest account). Tried some overseas downloads and these are seriously slow in comparison in the past few months I was getting an average of 50KB with direct downloads and these are now at 5KB. Oh well win some, lose some although I signed up for a monthly package this time to see which ISP to choose so I can cancel at any time. I think I will need to see what its like on a better day after all IS does use satellite and I remember it being bad on days like this when I made use of Infosat.

after to much 256 disconnected service i went uncapped unshaped 512k.

the thoughput omg what a differance i actualy download now more than 8G a month where with sentech i would be lucky to connect and then even
more lucky to be online for 5hours strait...

still sure that the 256k one was capped harsly and only port 80 was like 50% of
of the 256k thing, i got modem speed through my vpn to my work remotly

and now i get 50kbps+ when i remote admimister my servers...
 
No compliants here, I'm happy thus far with my 128k (Nowire) contract. Farewell to all outgoing MyWi customers :), please don't tell us how green the grass is on the other side.
 
Strange - I edited my first post and now I see a second??

Anyhow, just to clear up any ambiguity in my post, the 50KB was from MyWi and not ADSL (today was my first day with ADSL as Sentech cancelled my contract yesterday). In other words the speed had already improved from sometime in September.
 
After getting "the call", followed by "the email", I signed up with Iburst, only to discover that I've still not been disconnected......................

Sentech can't even get that right.....................

The reason I've stayed on the 256k MyClassic is because I do an average of 30G a month
