Pardon me if I got his name wrong. Vuyo, a friendly and helpful guy, responded to my complaints about latency and congestion in the Stellenbosch Paradyskloof area, checking it out while I was unavailable. He confirmed the problem and him and his Vodacom colleques got the situation improved dramatically - basically within a DAY!
With the improvement now I realise this had been a problem for a long time. At times so frustrating had to revert to steamy 56k. (Always browsed this Forum to id similar situation here in Sbosch, did'nt find any. Upgraded SW and firmware- VMC to Hauwei back to latest VMC Lite for slight temporary improvement. Did'nt Knox Johnson? state in press some time ago potential problems with older/other SW?) Called in at least 4 times this year but then last weekend got real action, don't know if it had been in the pipeline already but Vuyo took the trouble to check my VC history and came around for first hand experience. He kept me informed and quickly diagnosed problem as congestion etc. and then really seems to have fixed it. Anyway
thanks to Vuyo and team's efforts now have almost instant access to local sites and competitive responses on eBay, BoBuy etc., just great! Thanks again guys....just had to mention it somewhere and appreciate this opportunity.
