Hey all,

A while back I was pestering you all with questions about mobos and ram. Now finally I've got my new setup: (Q9300, GA-P35-DS3L, 2x2gb transend ram).

Just want to say thanks for all the advice.:)

Now I need to flash my bios so it recognises my CPU and decide between XP or Vista 64bit :p

xp with sp3

fine for now... i'd say go get vista in a years time.

my R0.02.

Windows XP until you're forced to use Windows Vista :D

Just kidding, you might as well try Windows Vista with that setup ;)

Shotto guys... Yeah I am keen to try Vista 64 bit now that the SP is out and my pc can handle it.
Just slapped on a XP install on a spare drive for now as I couldn't wait and needed to feel it :P. But this weekend I'll probably swap over to Vista.

Vista 64Bit!

It really makes me angry that all the people who say Vista 64 sucks never even tried it!

Vista 64 ftw!

I recently installed xp 64-bit and although it runs really well with 64-bit software and drivers, as soon as you start with 32-bit software I get problems.

So I would say, stick with 32-bit XP or Vista

Yes that did cross my mind but if I'm going to use a 32bit system I'll stick to XP, I hear the vista 32bit is a bit poo

Thats why you download 64bit programs which run better and faster

Most 32bit programs still work with my 64
