The 2016 Way Less Objectivity thread

What diet have you been following. Doesn't help you gym your butt off, but you still eat like pig :)
At some point eating becomes irrelevant, I'm far from that point though. I also need to stick to the same scale as I'm getting different readings. Will keep using the same scale at the gym

Stalled at 100.6 for the last few days. Read a few things you can do when stalling here that I'm going to try.

How carefully do you watch what you eat?
As in weighing each particle of food that goes into your mouth or just being mindful.

In my experience, just being mindful only does enough to keep you at the same weight. As a first step, just get the amount of kilojoules or calories you consume every day.

I am following a plan that I got from a dietitian. I am due to go back to her soon... maybe she wil adapt the plan. And yes I am doing the weighing and counting thing even though I have it.

How many kilojoules or calories are you eating?

for losing weight --> 80% what you eat, 20% exercise .... if your aim is to lose weight, you HAVE to eat right, no matter how much you want to lose or how much you are currently weighing. Eating will never become irrelevant

This.

It's also incredibly easy to be tempted. My mom sent me a ton of peppermint crisps from home. Usually I'd take one and crush it up over vanilla ice cream. Tastes great...but is also about 1300 calories in 1 go.

So to avoid temptation I've packed all of the chocolates and cookies and everything I had at home and took it to work. So now I'm not eating crap AND I'm everyone's hero at work. Win win.

The projectile vomiting from the Frisco will help with that :D

lol. I have had no troubles with 0% exercise. And for some reason it makes some people *really* angry when I say I'm lazier than a sloth.

Anybody here with 12% or lower body fat? Any tips an losing that last little layer?

I seem to be stuck on 86kg for the past two weeks. (Not that weight is that much of a guideline for me anymore). Top two abs are visible but just can't seem to shake the last little bit of blubber on the bottom of the belly.

I've upped my cardio and activity, keeping my weights sessions intense (even making strength gains) and as far as diet go I am spot on with calorie deficit. Doing a combo of Keto and IF. About 4lt water every day.

Perhaps I am just being too impatient.

Age also plays a factor. The older you get, the more difficult it is to reach the 6-pack. Also. According to a trainer, there is a need to change your training plan as your body gets use to the exercise and become efficient, leading to slower loss of fat.

How tall are you?

How many carbs per day? How much fat?

I'd probably cut your calorie intake by 200 calories - its fine as long as you are doing fasting and getting enough minerals. Starvation mode only occurs if you don't do fasting.

Haha sod off. I like my frisco OKAY.

It was hilarious watching the okes at the office try out peppermint crisp for the first time. The one guy likes it, the other dude says it tastes like cough drops covered in chocolate.

Oh... www.reddit.com/r/progresspics/ is a brilliant motivational page. Some serious losses there. The one guy lost around 60kgs. He says he hated the thought of exercising at a gym etc. So all he did was eat following KETO and walked 5km around his neighbourhood everyday. Even if it took him forever, he just walked. Walking is easy, but it burns calories...even if it takes longer.
