dear god, i just weighed myself. 119.5 :( That means I picked up around 7kg over December. That's not good, not good at all.

Damn you Krispy Kreme!!!

Well, I started LCHF at the beginning of December at 82, and am now 77. I think I'm aiming for, say, 74?

Current weight: 87kg
Goal weight: 75kg
Method: Herbal Life

@faniedry or others, do you have a specific programme you follow for the LCHF diet?

I haven't thought of a goal weight, but I thought I would pitch for losing 5 kg for a start. My goal is to improve my energy levels and get this stiff feeling out of my body. I am looking at exercise and possibly yoga or something like that.

With LCHF you need to do a couple of things before you start:
1. Learn what you can and cannot eat.
2. Plan. Make sure you always have something in the house that you can make. Never be in a situation where there is nothing but the wrong food around.
3. Be ready to cook your own food, every single day. There is no, "quick meal" or "on the go" food here. If you want to do it properly, make it, from scratch. There are no "ready made" deals here.

Those rules seem to work for me.

My LCHF food habits are dreadfully boring, but in terms of effort entails cooking a large pot of meat + suitable vegetables, which lasts a couple of days. In the morning I have coffee with MCT oil and butter.

It's not exciting, but it's very cheap, it works and doesn't take much time at all.

For herbal life, you have a 250 ml shake and 1 fruit every morning at 8-9am, herbal life tea at 11, another shake at 1 and some more tea at 3.

You won't even feel hungry if you continue with this.

Once you get home you can have any protein rich food. I usually have prawns meat or chicken with quinoa and a salad.

It's a cheap diet with results.

I would however recommend the 13 day Hitler diet before starting any other diet. It's a nice way to get things started.

I'll join.

IIRC you said you have bullet proof coffee in the morning and meat + veg for dinner. What do you have for lunch?

Current weight: 84kg/34w
Goal weight: 80kg/30w
Method: Low-carb, High-protein diet, continue crossfit/Krav Maga/BJJ as per usual.

I'm more interested in just toning the gut rather than losing weight, but closer to 80kg will be a win. I know the problem is with my high carb intake, it always has been, but I've never been able to get below 84kg, not in a VERY long time at least. Usually fluctuate between 84kg and 86kg.

Trying to stick to whisky when I drink, and need to up my water intake as well. Won't reduce the coffee intake (I mean damn, I'm only human), and try and eat less junk as snacks during the day.
