Fazda can you explain the design of the speedometer display for me? Why is 200km more visible than 120km?

You obviously never looked inside the cockpit of a sportscar.
Rev counter is central as that's what counts, it's also arranged that the needle is pointing towards the top at max revs, as under racing conditions you can pick up the needle as it reaches the top and not take your eyes off the road. Speedos are always smaller and they crank backwards when compared with normal cars - needle pointing straight down when standing still and right up at max speed - 120 is immaterial in the mind of the designers - it's a non number - cars cannot be designed for SA speed limits only you know...

They are the identical car, both built by FHI/Subaru, one has a Toyota badge and one doesn't, and sadly in SA, apart from the fact that you will only be getting 8 cars this year, the Subaru is going to be more expensive, because they don't get the discount for exporting, that Toyota does.

Edit: I like the Toyota front end more. So going for it rather than the Subu.

Every single thing, except the badge and the fuel injection, is Subaru even Subaru stamps on the panels under the bonnet, so don't cry too much! ;)

Yeah not really much to cry about.. same car.. i'd love to get one at that price.. a bit young at the moment for cars like that though :cry:

What's the speed limits around the world, barring Germany obviously.
This is a road car, you can't see the speedometer reading from 0 - 120 at all.

You can in a R8 and M3 and even a Porsche, is this car in a higher league?
 
Is the 86 coming in a 4 door? The car looks hot... And you have the reliability of a subaru and a Toyota so it's a win win situation :-)

It really is a non issue - he's probably critical of the speedo on Porsche 911 and a Rolls Royce as well - great to be critical when you'll never own the damned thing! :rolleyes:
