A march led by the African National Congress against the power cuts was to be held in Soweto on Thursday.

What the actual ****

So much fail:
- The ANC is the primary party responsible for the mess Eskom currently finds itself in.
- Soweto might just be the last place in this country that is entitled to electricity (extremely high occurance of non-payment), and it's residents are the ones marching?

What kind of loony logic is this?

Soweto is spoilt rotten. I grew up there, moved to orange farm and nothing has ever happened in orange farm development wise. The government has built outdoor rooms for free in Orlando, installed new toilet systems to almost all houses,paved the roads in orlando etc. all this happening and orange farm has got nothing. No road is untarred in soweto but all roads at least 95% of orange farm is untarred. Let it burn!!!!!!

What are the people of orange farm doing to change their situation? If I recall it's an ANC ward. Pointless complaining, but then voting the same clowns into power, especially when they're giving Soweto preferential treatment to everyone else...

Seems a bunch of Soweto residents realise this and that the ANC is just trying to take advantage of the situation. The community wasn't very receptive to them.

Let's just hope the voting results show that. If the whole of Soweto votes DA in the next election the ANC loses Gauteng and may possibly not even win the election.
