Are you referring to the 'old' ANC or the new party, aka the 'reshuffled' version of the ANC.

Please. These are the very same people everyone was fed up with a few months ago.

I was referring to the 'old' ANC. I didn't think of the new party of being the same people that we are fed up with, until you mentioned it. I suspose they are all cut from the same cloth just with a new name.

Middle class not contributing?

Moederloos today:
And, a report online today shows black middle class now at just under 10 million

Necuno yesterday:
13 million people on social welfare ........
"And there are only 5.3 million tax payers

Huh? Doesn't add up. Surely middle class = falls in the having-to-submit-tax-returns bracket. Not?

Don't tell us that you think all 10 million submit their tax returns?

Fact is, most of them never had to pay tax ('old regime'), thinking is 'why should I now...'

Of course some do pay their tax, but don't go thinking that all of them do.

The ANC bring it on themselves. You know it.

I have never read anyone of you mentioning anything positive about the ANC. Yes a lot of **** is happening, but there is a lot of Good things too. Why don't you mention it? Even if you do, it is usually in a negative tone.

Hello Siphox
Please feel free to contribute positively by bringing those positive issues to the forum or to the debate to give balance.
At this juncture though the negatives seem to outweigh the positives significantly.
The ANC is morally bankrupt and corrupt to the core.

They claim to take a zero tolerance stance on corruption yet they enrich the perpetrators with guaranteed government jobs, jobs that they are not necessarily qualified for and jobs that the tax payers money is wasted on.
The abysmal service delivery record is proof enough that this 'jobs for pals at all costs' strategy is fataly flawed.

Instead of dealing with criminality within the party with no mercy, the ANC reward those caught out. Niehaus, thieving Travelgate MPs. Instead of creating a culture of honesty, they target the whistle-blowers vigorously that implicate ANC 'cadres (read as ANC thieves).

Those that highlight serious problems with infrastructure that goes against the grain of the official spin are sacked. Crisis, what crisis!
Denialism, unaccountability, corruption, failure to address key issues effectively.

Anyway, I am all ears, lets hear the good bits.
