He might be arrogant. He might believe there is no possible way they could pin it on him. Refusing to return would look very suspicious.
 
Irritating that the Argus doesn't give online articles without a subscription, but they had a story where they interviewed a witness who said that Dewani's body was lying with her underwear pulled down to her knees and her dress pushed up to her stomach when he saw it in the car. No one else seems to have picked up on this. They may have planned to rape her and she was shot in the process?

Another woman from Gugulethu said that tourists who come into the township during the day are usually left alone by criminals. In any case they should realise by now that going after tourists is a very stupid idea.

Well I've got it at home in the paper, just thought it's something interesting that hasn't been covered. The police said nothing has been found that would indicate she'd been sexually assaulted, except the very obvious physical evidence if this is true. But it sounds like they didn't go through with the rape in this case.

The SAPS often suppress information, so it may be one of those cases.

He's in hiding too - and I read somewhere they're worried that if the husband returns, he'll be a target too.

Wouldn't that mean that :

a) He has nothing to do with it?
b) Who stands to gain then - his father and brother?

Though arranging a murder like that from UK would be difficult :/

And if everyone is worried about killers coming back, I wonder how deep this goes

Why were they in gugeleto in the first place? Not even south africans venture in there

i could have guessed right about gugeleto which is still plan to visit. You welcome to try visit a place in South Africa called Gugulethu, plenty of South Africans there apart from the fact that the live there, they visit the place frequently (black/white/colored). Oh! i also heard that the British news reported that the husband said they were hijacked on the N2 not gugulethu. Conflicting stories

That fact is being contested - apparently they do not owe money, although I'm not sure what to believe anymore. I'm through speculating - will just wait it out and see what the final verdict is.

Apparently Shrien Dewani's brother said that, according to his info, it happened on the N2. So odd - who is lying - SAPS, the media, Shrien or his brother??

If he is 'targeted' and needs protection while he is here, it sounds like they are implying that this thing was highly orchestrated.

The alleged culprits were arrested - 3 of them - so if it was just an ordinary robbery/hijacking, he would not have much to fear, cos the guys were arrrested.
 
talk about lying, can someone tell me who the British woman was that was killed?
