THE ASHES THREAD - AUS v ENG

After Adelaide this result was a complete shock :eek:

Glad I am not a betting man. I would have lost a packet on this game.

Besides... my team in CricInfo Fantasy has gone from 14th to 336th :mad:
 
What a good comeback by the Aussies.

the changing point in the game was Johnson's spell in the first innings.

4 players won the game for australia ( Hussey, Watson, Harris and Johnson).

It's still quite concerning for Aussies that Hughes, Ponting and Clarke are completely off form.

they need to come to the party or they are not going to win the ashes.
 
Glad to see Johnson has decided he can also bowl well against teams other than us. He put half our top order in hospital, then went to England and bowled gentle long-hops and wides six feet down leg.

How much longer for Ponting? Tendulkar and Kallis are batting better than ever, but he is certainly in decline.

Well there wasn't any real big innings scores in this Test - a very low scoring Test match.

Even though I thought England bowled superbly in the first innings they were definitely out bowled by the Aussies.

123 against this aussie team :eek:, you were quick to praise them when they won. You should show the same kind of speed in declaring they sucked haha, even worse is they sucked against one of the weakest aussie teams in the last 2 decades.

Have you read my responses??? I have only praised the Aussies for their win in the 3rd Test.

The Aussies bowling looks a little flat compared to the Poms. Long may it last :)
 
Just thinking about Clarke being groomed captaincy. Really cannot see how he'll be any good for the team. But who else could do the job?
