The Audi Thread

Agreed. Why I also went auto.
Then I got an S-Tronic (not even knowing the difference to Tiptronic at the time) and now I get thrills. Fat fkn thrills.

So you get a lazy @ss car for traffic or chilled driving, and a beast for the moments you want sheer performance. Win/win.

One day when I'm big, I wanna be just like Mike [-]Larry[/-] Smit!

:D

That looks lovely. Mileage and price? Can't imagine it's going cheap. I'd love an RS4, but my current commute and petrol bills say no.

80,000km and R220,000. Excellent price. 2006 though, but as per pics it has Navigation+ which might play MP3s (like the 2007s which have the upgraded radios).

Has not had clutch done, that will be the first major expense. Probably ±R20,000.

Great price, even when you take the clutch into account. Though the first thing I would do is a carbon clean to free up some of the lost power.

Also keep out R60K for your DRC. Expect to do it at around 100-120 000km. But go for it, its a great car.

Pricey, would have to keep this beast as a weekend car so as to prolong the time until it needs replacing!

The sensible side of me tells me that I already have 350Nm and should stick with what I have. If I start modding, I'll lose less when it comes to resale, than what I'd lose on the RS4 and maintenance.

Been looking out for a silver one though, so it's tough.
