The Audi Thread

Thinking of selling my 2013 3-door 1.8 Stronic A3 , 15k mileage, Monsoon Grey, Bose Sound System, Xenons, full Leather Seats etc.. Would sell for 20k under market value just to skip the chancers on Autotrader and work with a decent buyer.

Already have 2 cars and decided best to let this one go, need to start saving for a house/move overseas etc.

Looking online for something similar they go for about 320k with the same specs/mileage.

Sounds decent. If I was looking for a replacement for my 2010 A3 of the same spec I'd ask to take a peek!

My (not so much mine anymore) baby getting roadworthied. Okes couldn't get over how good a nick she's in.

Hi guys,

First off, I would just like to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread. The information really swung my vote to go for an Audi. As you will notice, I have been a member since 2008, but only have 3 posts. I am more of a reader than a poster, but I have kept an eye on this thread for a while.

I am now the proud owner of a 2013 A4 1.8 TSFI S Multitronic. I can't say a bad word about it. It is really awesome to drive and I often find myself just wanting to get in it and take a drive to nowhere, just for fun. Initially when I was looking I wanted three options - Navigation, Sunroof and the Xenon Plus. Struggled to find one with all three and eventually decided that I would be happy with the Nav and Xenons, as I had a sunroof before and I rarely used it. Only one downer I realized a few days after having it is that my model (the "S") doesn't have cruise control. It is really weird that someone put the Nav in the S, and not the SE, but since the gearbox is so awesome, I have come to terms with living without it.

Cheers.

Audi does offer an after market fitment for cruise control at the dealerships. Just give them a call and see. Audi pinetown had done it for people I know.

Yep, cruise should run you between 3 and 5 to have it added in. Can't remember the exact pricing at this point

Someone I know has one of those, starter died last week R11k for a frigging starter motor, recon R1.3k, madness.

At a dealer?

I recall when my first A6 needed it's cambelt service. About 6 or so years ago.
Audi quoted me just under R9k. Got it done at my local mechanic for R1.2k or something.

Dealer only good while under plan.

Daughter just turned 18 so took her to FNB at Karaglen so she could open a bank account.

When leaving, tool reverses out of the parking while I am going past.

there would be blood.

What was it, Toyota, BMW, Merc?
Toyota Corolla. No damage. His towbar made the connection.

He was very cool about it though. No use in freaking out. Insurance can fight it out.

I did let out a few choice words as it happened though. Then got out the car and asked him if his eyes were working. Lol. Calmed down after that and did the usual.

Eish sorry Mike!! That's got to hurt?!! Irritation and an inconvenience now to get that fixed. That's probably 15k worth of damage?

surely a lot more as that is 3 panels with fancy Audi paint. At least 25k unless you go backyard.
