The Audi Thread

For a while now, Audi SA's website lists models according to the new model naming convention. Has anyone actually seen an Audi anywhere with the new designation? None of the new ones I spot on the roads, have it.

I have seen an A3 with the 30 TFSI nomenclature a few weeks ago in PE. In bright yellow. I'll be honest, it was really hard to miss

Ah, interesting...I guess it took a little while for new stock to filter through but I assume we'll start seeing them from now on

A buddy broke his 07 2.0t b7 bpb motor

He requires a replacement

Anyone know what it costs like and any good places

Apprently the oil pump furked up

Costs so far are around 35k for the motor

What area? If in Johannesburg and surrounds he can contact Sarel Snyman at Torque tuning on 0823217762.

I wouldn't use anyone else for out of warranty repairs on Audi's.

There's a work shop in CT, don't have the particulars just now but let me see if I can get them off AudiSA forum. They come highly recommended!! If @PostmanPot is stalking this thread he might help. I'm pretty sure they done work on his RS4....

German Auto Specialists in Monatague gardens I believe..

does Sarel also do normal and major service on Audis?

Agreed!
I also heard some not so good things about them.
The fact that they have changed their name (apparently more than once) is also quite dodgy.

Can't see you getting a complete 2hnd motor incl fitment for much less than R35k, who gave that quote?

Gents, need some advice.

I want to buy a 2nd hand audi a3.Budget 250-300k.I will be doing about 120km daily to work, so please advise me.

I have been looking at the a3 1.4l hatches...
