Look, I don't want to argue. I'm just reporting my experience with DSG's, all wet clutches, G6 GTi, G7 GTi, and Audi A4 3.0TDI Quattro. They behave like a torque converter as in it always wants to pull, which is why the instant consumption is higher imho.
I will continue to do what I've always done and select N at the lights and pull the ebrake and relax, when the light turns green I press the brake and select D and the ebrake releases automatically when I touch the accelerator. I will continue treating it like a manual and not keep it in gear with the clutch pedal pressed in when at a stop.
