I'm checking the tyre pressures on my A3, and the spare wheel (Marie biscuit type) says 60psi which is about 4.1 bar.
Do these marie biscuit spare wheels require such high tyre pressure? I'm nervous to make it so high!
Seems Audi is ok with that, the sticker inside your door also list the presure and it state 4.2.
Perhaps, I don't know where you'd get one, from Audi themselves will cost a mint.I've been meaning to put air into my marie biscuit spare tyre, then I realised hang on this tyre is now 14 years old as my A3 was manufactured November 2010!
Would it be be best to go and get a new spare tyre in case it's ever needed?

Yeah, they are like hens teeth. My 19' got a puncture and I gave up looking for just the tyre to replace, always no stock and the one from the dealer would be on back order from germany and was something stupid like R10k so I just bought a normal mag and tyre which takes all the boot space now.Perhaps, I don't know where you'd get one, from Audi themselves will cost a mint.
Just inspect the tyre for dry rot or any other damage, if it still looks fine then leave it.
Just make sure to never go over 60km/hr when you use those things and you'll be fine..
