Bacon has been proven to give you tapeworm, do not eat it

Avoiding raw meat and cooking meat well enough (to greater than 140 degrees F for 5 minutes) will prevent tapeworm infection. Freezing meats to -4 degrees F for 24 hours also kills tapeworm eggs. Good hygiene and hand washing after using the toilet will prevent self-infection in a person who is already infected with tapeworms.

When you’re sweating like a pig, nothing works harder at killing odor quite like the bacon powder deodorant. Made with bits of real bacon, this potent deodorant will have you smelling downright delicious – which may be a problem if cannibalism is common in your area.
South Africa – Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV)
The South African Department of Agriculture Forestry & Fisheries has implemented a ban on certain porcine
products in response to the recent findings of PEDV in the United States.
The only animal product affected by the ban is porcine plasma containing products.
If you are exporting a product from the US to South Africa that will be/is impacted by this ban, please notify your Veterinary Services Export Service Center or Local VS Office. This will allow VS to engage in negotiations for the appropriate risk mitigations to allow exports of your product to resume.
Updates will be posted as new information becomes available.
Your cooperation and patience is greatly appreciated.
