So it took about 50 phone calls and emails but I finally managed to get hold of pure sucralose.

Problem is that the minimum order quantity is 1kg

Worked out and if I were to use the equivalent of 4 teaspoons of sugar for 6 cups of coffee per day..... The 1kg pack will last me about 15 years.

Sucralose is not a healthy sugar alternative.
Stick with stevia rather.

I bought myself some Stevia last weekend as my Sucralose was finished. Stevia tastes absolutely horrible to a whole new degree, Like eye twitching horrible, You must be extremely dedicated to use this instead of sucralose. I will rather drink coffee without any sweetener than straf myself like that again.

Ja I cannot stomach Stevia.

Cooked up my first batch of liquid sweetener last night. 1 x drop = 1 teaspoon of sugar sweetness.

Used 3 tablespoons of powder mixed with 200ml purified water and then bottled them in 5 x dropper bottles. Each bottle containing around 800 drops.

2 x bottles for home
1 x bottle for work
1 x bottle for wife at work
1 x bottle for a friend who wants to test out my little experiment

Works really well. Only used it in my coffee so far and last night in a protein smoothie after my workout.

Yet to test it out in sauces, baking and of course my little project with the flavouring syrups. Still need to read up a lot more about Xanthan Gum.

It took me about a week to switch from instant coffee, milk and sugar to ground coffee, black, no sugar.

Warning: once you tread this path there is no return: you realise just how bad instant coffee actually is ... !! :)

Closest I come is a shot of this with cream for a pick me up, when on the run :)

How much did that kilogram work you out?

I only use these and only in a cup of tea twice daily.

For baking I use suki which is a combo of stevia and xylitol.

Both taste very good.

I've also gone completely off sugar and instant coffee. The only coffee I have during the week is instant in my bullet coffee in the morning. But I do miss having coffee at the office.

How does the instant Espresso compare to the Alta Rica? On their site they say that the AR is the darkest / strongest coffee they make. Do you literally make an espresso with the Nescafé espresso? That would be awesome

I have a single cup cafetière (coffee press) that went with me when I worked at customer sites.
