The big SA Post Office lie

The South African Post Office has developed a reputation for offering poor service to its customers.

This was shown in 2018 when a mail backlog that started in May took six months to clear.
Good job!

Could you also find out what are the repercussions for the Post Office of not meeting ICASA's license conditions?

It's not like ICASA will revoke the license and ask some private company like Postnet or Aramex to take over. :unsure:

So is ICASA toothless?

I ordered a few things off eBay October 2018 and estimated delivery was end of December 2018. Still waiting...This has been the longest I have had to wait for an order

Useless is the word that describes the post office , they should hire post net to deliver their mail and Foff home .
R25 delivery charges for international parcels and the service gets worse .

Barnes is an amazing salesperson - able to persuade govt to put him into a BEE position with no proper selection process based on a powerpoint. Unfortunately the position needs more than sales skills

SAPO took 6months to deliver an international parcel, 3months to clear customs, i dont get it, delivering post needs no skills accept general knowledge

My few pennies of worth
Mark Banes is lier and head of corrupt incompetent group of individuals who has no ethics or idea what service is...short story ordered components in May 2018, was scanned as received and sent to customs October 2018 then on PO web app show in Transit....still waiting...stolen? Lost? Question ia this so many undelivered items or lost... shouldn't we as customers consumers start making civil cases of theft against the head of this organisation Mark Barnes??? Maybe a few thousand cases of corruption and theft might wake these idiots and get something to happen We are so easy to complain lets take it further Start opening cases of theft etc Im sure as hell going to do it

Have a parcel from overseas that landed in the country 4 January 2019. This container has not even been opened as yet, nevermind delivered. I have sent 6 emails as week as a complaint email which is now 13 days ago and still unanswered....
