The word "regulation" is a problem. Regulation is why Greece's citizens have pension funds stolen from them by Goldman Sachs, via the IMF. Anything to do with government and banks is corrupt.

The issue with regulation is that as soon as Central Banks regulate BTC, it gives it legitimacy. Central Banks are not sure whether they really want it to be legitimate tender.

So with everyone climbing into BTC and just holding for price appreciation, when am I going to be able to use it for day-to-day purchases without it being a huge pain/cost? Why doesn't WW or my landlord want my BTC?

I see on Luno there's a BCH wallet added..... How do I import my mycelium private keys into luno bch wallet ? Mmm...

Damn, Luno can take it's sweet time depositing funds after an EFT. I EFT'd funds yesterday morning from FNB to FNB so it should have reflected first thing this a.m. Have any of you had delays with deposits?

Nope. Did an FNB deposit about an hour ago and it came through within half an hour. I always wait till a weekday during working hours to do transfers - no point doing it over the weekend etc.

Why would you want to do that?

You can't deposit or anything into that luno bch wallet, only withdraw your bch to another wallet
What do you mean when you say you can't deposit anything into that luno wallet? You can send bitcoins to the wallet, no?
I don't use Luno hence asking for clarification here - it seems very unlikely to me that you would not be able to send bitcoins to your Luno wallet, that would make no sense at all...

See I mentioned bch. Not btc. They added functionality to withdraw bitcoin cash to another wallet. That's all, no depositing, buying, selling, etc.

Ah right, I've totally ignored BCH or BCC or whatever people are calling - it doesn't exist in my world :p

I wanted it available first thing Monday morning so I transferred it yesterday. First time I've had a problem and it's also the largest amount of money I've transferred.

My sis transfered money yesterday morning also and it is not showing yet. Was transfered from her Capitec account though. A guy at work told her about bitcoin and she wants some. I thought of telling her about it when I bought mine, but thought she would tell me it sounds like a scam.

Took 3 days for Nedbank to Luno in my case. You can email support and get them to hurry the process up if it's FNB to FNB AFAIK.
