I Just transferred 0.01 Bitcoin from Luno to an exchange, withdraw cost freakin 7.5%. This is probably due to their dynamic fee structure which tries to minimize verification time.

Luno: If I am willing to wait longer it would be nice to have an option of a lower fee.
The fees to transfer btc are not percentage based. It's an amount in btc which varies depending on the size of the mempool. Iirc Luno has a flat rate. So if you transfer a small amount it will land up being a higher percentage than if you transfer a large amount. Note also that fees will drop when segwit is activated.

Which international exchange(s) do you suggest ?

I'm quite comfortable with Bitfinex even though it had a bad hack a few years back (I actually lost a bit in that) but I'm going on the principle they're once bitten twice shy. People are quite passionately pro or con the different exchanges though. Bittrex is also quite good and has a lot of the more obscure cryptos.

BUT I only keep what I'm actively trading. The rest in private wallets. That way if the exchange collapses you won't get wiped out.

factors have led to a close profitability parity between both networks as bitcoin mining is currently only 2-6 percent more profitable to mine than bitcoin cash.

For those who haven't claimed their bitcoin cash, just remember that if you had bitcoin at the time of the split you have bitcoin cash as well and can claim it at any time now or in the future.
