OK something really weird is going on here,

Check this out.....

Maybe an attack is going on right now?
I mean maybe somebody manage to pull off a hack in the protocol or satoshi nakamoto is alive?

Any news of this?

I just sent my BTC from Electrum (software wallet) to AltCoin trader.

I'm stressing out a bit as the coin has 'left' Electrum but not appeared in my AltCoin trader account. I sent it like 2 minutes ago though. Should I be stressing?

No can take 1 hour

Silly response, it can take as long as it needs to.

Check how many confirmations the transaction has received on Blockchain.info - I’d wager you need 2-3 before the recipient acknowledges it.

Can take 4 hours on a bad day lol.

He asked should he be stressed. I implied no. You did little to respond to the actual question. No you don't need to stress.lol

Stop implying things and answer correctly, and I replied to your post, not his.

Yet he was right. It can take an hour. Nothing wrong there. Most wallets factor in reasonable transaction fees so it's not likely to sit there for too long. Longest I've had is a couple of hours.
I don't think this is a technical issue so much as a patience one. @Chris, check up on the blockchain - just put the address you sent to here:
https://blockchain.info/

I said it was a silly response, not incorrect. Explaining why it could take that long is better than just saying yea it could take an hour.

Nope, slow to the mark as usual. I don't understand why they would risk a potential mass exodus of coin to other exchanges that support Bitcoin Gold. Oooh wait. The 1% for Crypto withdrawals might have something to do with it.

I don't think it's being "slow to the mark"
Forks are incredibly difficult, complex and unpredictable beasts to handle. Please take a read through our blog link from my last post :)

Not sure what you mean about a 1% withdrawal fee? We use dynamic fees based on what the Bitcoin network deems fit for a relevant transaction fee.

Who knows... I bought just before the August fork and was planning on buying more at a better price after the fork but it never dipped to that price again. Planning ahead for a better deal with bitcoin hasn't work out well for many.

So I've just triggered Schrodinger's BTC.

Whenever I SODL, price goes up...then whenever I buy, price goes down. So now I've spent half my "Bitcoin play money" to buy while keeping the other half in my cash wallet. So if the price goes up I win and if it goes down then I can buy more.

Interesting beast this.

Ye, I'm gonna sell half my holdings just before the fork and hope it drops afterwards :D
