Hi same with me.. deposited yesterday still

Making an EFT over weekends is always risky, and never guaranteed to clear.
I'm afraid your banks cut-off times is what'll be holding things up.

Seen some reports on this thread where EFTs do clear quickly over the weekend, but it's impossible to guarantee. Please check your bank cut-off times and how we allocate deposits:

Those of us hodling Bitcoin are still good tho, right?

I bought 1 Bitcoin just 2 days before the crash to play around with, my first. Traded it a few times and made around R2k before the crash on Friday. My last buy was at R107k and I've been holding since then in the chaos. Will just hold and see how things play out. I've watched the price go all the way down to R81k, up to R103k, back down to R84k and then settle for a while yesterday at around R98k.

Think a recovery depends on whether Bitcoin Cash fails or loses ground as people are going with either of the two. If Bitcoin Cash does lose some traction I think that Bitcoin will reach new highs because of all the extra money being pumped into cryptocurrency these last few days. That extra cash will then be pumped into Bitcoin which will make it soar real fast.

Edit: I see Bitcoin Cash went down quite a bit, almost back to previous levels before people jumped on the train. So if it stays there for a while or goes down further, I think we should see $7000 Bitcoin again real soon.

Agree... BCH aka "Bitcoin Crash" was a good scalping opportunity, not much more.

Think BCH wont be worth all that much in some time?

Hard to say. If it's low enough, people will buy, pushing the price up, but unless there's a deliberate attempt to manipulate the market, I doubt it will emerge as anything significant.

Looks like Bitcoin is on its way up today. It's just going to take a while to break through all those sell walls that have built up over the last few days.

Will possibly hold close to what it is now, I think drop to maybe around $800 or $900. BCH seems was a pump n dump. Its fairly clear to most, and many who sold their BTC and bought into it got burned in the BCH dump. It will now be viewed with caution, and those still holding waiting to make their money back will dump at the first chance they have to break even. Its going to take a very very long time(years maybe) to build up to the value ($2400?) it saw in the peak of the pump.

Straight up, only you are responsible for your gains and loses. Never spend more than you can afford to. Buy low, sell high. Never sell for less than you paid. Ignore the fud, investigate everything yourself. You won't have a lambo overnight. And last but most importantly, never, never take advice from random people on the internets.;)

So, to answer your 'should i buy BCH? Or keep investing in BTC AND ETHEREUM?'
Still early on dust settling, but looks like BTC is going to continue up to where it was and push towards $7k again, in which case, its 'cheap' to get in now. I'd hold off on any BCH purchasing, see what happens over the next few days.

may be a loooong holiday season , read ANC problems etc , hedge your rand with something worthwhile.Guess if you are into shares eg sasol is fine. Offshore good but a schlepp--and they take big cuts. BTC is perhaps best , electronic gold.
I hodl , and buy a bit every month
Will probably get some monero soon , but that is it
