Aaand with that Altcointrader is glitching. I tried to sell and I'm being forced to HODL. And eventually got a cloudflare warning about being banned temporarily after several attempts. :/
These local guys need to take their platforms seriously. Volumes are miniscule compared with the big guys.

What is the longest any of you have had to wait for a bitcoin transfer to happen?I have been waiting since the 27th for some to transfer from an exchange to my luno wallet, and it still has 0 out of 3 confirmations. I am aware that the clearing time usually is based on the fee?

I had the same issue, but was told the transaction will expire after a week or so and then you can resubmit it. I waited 6 days until it actually confirmed in the end.

They did it with me as well, getting no response from luno support or lonumoney rep. Utterly disgusted. Changing rates after an order has been confirmed at a certain price is tantamount to fraud. Currently moving my funds to altcointrader. Sick and tired of Luno, their glitchy app and their support that don't give a fook.

yeah makes a difference

@all ,did this happen to anyone else on here ?

It's working fine now. No balance lag for me. I sold an hour ago at R157K and now bought back in at R150K. I cancelled and put in buy orders a few times in between.

It's not hindsight. I did sell then and make money. Useful tip for Luno noobs to watch for sudden big dips on major exchanges when Luno is on the way up. ;)

Agreed. Though, I only managed to sell at 157k and I re-bought at 156k (:o). That's when it turned in USD, but I should've allowed more time for the Luno market delay.

OK, the picture indicates you sold at the top of the candle... That's what confused me.

Only on an SA exchange

Of course 'sell' means what others are offering to sell at and 'buy' means what others are offering to buy at.

Bitfinex's BTCUSD 1 minute. I usually sell and buy in at smaller intervals. I was stressing there for a bit!

I don't trust Luno anymore with such trades where I sell at a loss to buy back in cheaper a few minutes later. Never know when the delay is going to come.

I tested the exchange first with a 'test buy order' and cancelled to see how long it took to update. Still risky but there wasn't much happening then on the exchange. I also got nailed for quite a bit of my profits on Wednesday with the lags. Unacceptable, but what can you do? It's easier to make money on Luno. I will be playing it very safe when trading volume gets out of hand again.
