has the transaction been received on the other exchange where you sent to yet?

Mine come up as bitcoin send fee.

Ok..form what i gather, things seem to have changed

So previously there was a line that said fees and a follow up transaction for the fees.

Amount sent = amount recieved.

But if you had no extra BTC your wallet, I would assume the fees will be removed from the transaction.

So amount sent - amount recieved will be fees.

Okay thanx.

The full 0.002 was received on the other exchange so I cannot do: amount sent - amount received = fees.

But thanx anyway. At least you confirmed that getting the fees are not that trivial.

Will try the Luno-specific thread.

Going downhill bigtime

I've seen this all before over the last month. Goes down and then goes back up even faster.

Only thing is that if it goes back up on the USD exchanges whilst people here are asleep, it will take a while to get back to previous levels on Luno.

Edit: Whilst I was typing this it gained $500 on Bitfinex.

We are way over USD price. I think this is a big correction. Dam sorry i was out and missed this

I hope it is.
I'd be happy with even a 30 - 40% pullback over the next few weeks.

If you're trading every day like that you're probably solidly beating the market consistently and are no amateur. That R12k in fees is paltry in comparison to your profits so you wouldn't care.
No it depends. Just because you move R10m in BTC per month you could be playing it very safe by working on less than 1% profits. That will give you R50k/month with no maker fees or R40k with a 0.1% fees.

You don't need to be rich or hold a lot of BTC to move that much in a month.

Exactly. You're beating the market by R40k with only R229 549 in capital, a 17% return in a month. That's incredible. Who cares about fees when you're killing it like that.

This is about fear of Bitcoin futures being introduced soon by the world's largest derivatives exchange in the world, CME Group. It will allow short selling on Bitcoin which can send negative signals to bitcoin investors, crushing Bitcoin. CNBC's Jim Cramer (after a series of previous negative comments about Bitcoin) said on television that this is what is going to happen. People are apparently converting to LTC and ETH in response.

There have been ways to short bitcoin for yonks, most people however just can't be bothered to seek them out.

Never on this level, being listed by CME with a spate of negativity from conventional jurasic investment companies to boot.

What non south african wallets allows you to buy with your Credit Card? And allows you to send to other wallets?

Coinbase is not supported in SA, and it seems neither is Blockchain info?
