People move their money into other currencies, closing all my BTC positions to move to XRP was the best decision I could make. Instead of losing money with BTC I already made 42.37% with XRP since yesterday. And looking at the lack of BTC support I am not the only one.

If BTC recovers I think it will take a long time, what do you guys think?
I've done the same. I moved half my BTC holdings into ripple on the 28th. Sold this morning again. More than doubled my BTC in 2 days.

I think ripple is very much overvalued, but so is BTC. Wonder how long this incline is going to last.

Are there any of the major exchanges that does the big cryptos that has an app similar to or better than Luno?

What are the predictions for its recovery?

It'll start next week some time when people return from holidays, followed by a drop mid jan and then back to normal, 20k will be easy, 25k, 23k, 25k, 30k, 27k etc etc 6figures this time next year

Not locally.

A few international exchanges do but I've never bothered using their apps.

BTC did not lose you money, you only lose if you sell cheaper than you paid. You lost yourself money.

Lack of BTC support:wtf: You do understand what time of year it is right?

Let's make this an adult discussion and set new rules:

1. Only people with more than 100k ZAR in crypto are allowed to participate
2. Only people with more than 300k ZAR in crypto are allowed to criticise and talk ***

This is gonna be silent real quick once all the wanna be's with their 5k Bitcoin "investment" shut up.

Not much longer, eToro market intermittently closed and rate dropping. The same as last week, I hold on to it a bit longer but might sell half of my units to take profit and reduce the risk.

We're adults, we don't need rules to guide the conversation. And please...you don't need to start flaunting how much you're investing - we're all in here together learning the ropes. If you think how much you've invested has any bearing on the quality of the post you're sorely misguided.

Hey look I have a mate who is not to well off who invested R5000 somewhere in April. "Wannebe" investor as you would classify him who took it from his house loan and was already a stretch for him to invest that money. But he held onto it and was PATIENT through all the dips.

So imho I think such a person's opinion carries a lot more weight in this thread than someone who bought at R300,000 and instant sold 24hours later at R180,000 licking wounds and crying foul. Hell even someone who buys a R100 now and sells at R102 opinion carries more weight...

I to have bought and sold at the wrong times. I'm sure many here have. But you learn from your mistakes. You don't come in here insulting people that don't have the disposable income to invest large amounts of money in a volatile investment. That's pretty rude...

This guy is a clown, just ignore him.
He has no clue what he’s doing or talking about.
He probably has a few peanuts invested.
