Some of it. eg. Say I bought at 1 BTC R200k and the price drops to R150k and hovers around there for a week. By selling and rebuying for cheaper a few times I end up with 1.1BTC. So in order to break even I only need the price to increase to R181.8k instead of R200k.
 
That's it I'm transferring a R100 to Luno and putting in a buy order at R1.

risky stuff.. especially with 1 whole freakin BTC
 
If the banks wanted to take down BTC, they could buy up pieces all over the place then when they had enough for a war chest, dump a ton and spook the price into freefall, causing those novices to lose a chunk of chain and to cause a loss of confidence in crypto going forward?

Is this plausible?

Yes, but, its only going to be there for a few minutes/seconds before it'll be back over 10k... and luno will do its normal back to cheapest exchange in the world up to most expensive a few times... because, well, thats the peeps on luno, panic panic panic, lots to be made if you're ready for those dumps

There's also the risk that we might not see $19k again for 3 years. That's what happened with the December 2013 all time high. The priced only reached the same level again in February 2017. We could be waiting a few years for $20k.

So you've closed out all your positions? I mean you would if you were that certain it's going down, right?...
Just asking out of curiosity, I'm also avoiding buying more because it could reasonably go down a lot further but not selling everything because I don't want to miss out if it does take off again soon

no...ive pulled out my initial investment. what ever is left can go to zero, il cry for sure because i had big plans for the moola. but life will go one
