The catch is that since you can't deposit BCH into Altcointrader the bulk of BCH out there cannot be deposited and sold. And why are they calling it BCC, anyway?

Thanks for reply Garp. Lost. So I sell my BCC on Altcointrader. What happens to funds?

Same as whatever happens on that exchange when you sell BTC. Presumably if you sell for ZAR, they credit your ZAR wallet.

But I note the order book on Altcointrader is a bit sparse - right now highest offer is for 0.004 BCC at 16000 - next highest offer is 15000. Looks like someone is offering and buying miniscule amounts to make the price look high.

Does anyone know how to import your private keys into Altcointrader? Can you even?

Why in the world would you want to do this? Don't give out your private keys to anyone for any reason, the owner of the keys is in 100% control of the funds in the wallet
 
Seems BTC has shaken off all BCC/BCH jitters. Price upping nicely :)
 
Sorry stated the question badly, where can I create an BCH wallet to transact from?

Most of those exchanges are still not accepting BCH and many of those wallets are not functional for BCH yet.

Be especially careful with the "Electrum Cash" now "Electron Cash" fork of Electrum. Apart from questions about the trustworthiness of the software, there is(was) a clone site on electroncash.net (instead of electroncash.org) which despite being identical delivered a version of the software with the addition of a trojan/backdoor.

Please Google any new wallet you want to use thoroughly and try to verify that others have used it successfully with no issues first.
 
^^^ Pretty sure all the fckn scammers are on this one. Rather wait it all out unless someone here, or rather plenty here can confirm their wallets and exchanges work.

That's why you send you BTC to Luno etc and then import your Exodus etc. secret key into Electrum cash to claim your BCC. People spreading FUD showing ignorance.
