Buying now is too risky in my opinion. If it's not approved you can land up losing badly. The odds are that it won't be approved, and if that happens there will be a huge dip next week, which would be a good time to buy.

The ETF decision deadline is March 11 (Saturday) but everyone is expecting them to announce today (Friday) since it is a week day.

Crazy day so far - shot up to over $1300, dipped below $1100, now $1270. Could be a "pump and dump" (somebody inflating the price by bidding up with a small quantity in order to sell a larger quantity at the higher price), or could be insider news of the ETF decision.

It went as low as ±920USD, not as low as i expected. Currently sitting at ±1075 USD on three USD exchanges.

BTCZAR was really slow to react on Luno. The market was surprisingly slow.

And back up to $1117. Wow, hectic volatility. Maybe the ETF wasn't as big a factor in the recent rally?
