So any of you clever dudes (Thor...., Ettiene... Balrog...) who'd like to take a noob step by step from sending BTC from Luno to Mycelium ?

Open Mycelium
Click receive
Copy to clipboard

Open Luno (via the app)
Click send
Paste in the address
Then set the amount and from there you are on your own, I'm not going further than that for now :p
 
Bought my first bitcoin this morning with Luno when the money cleared into my Luno account. I see it has been falling. On my app it said it was worth R479.00 and now it is sitting on R459. It seems it has been falling for a few days. I have transfered the little bit of money I got back from the tax man to Luno and was going to buy more once it clears. Should I rather hold on and see how far it continues to fall, and when it starts on a upward trend then buy???

I would wait a bit, there are some rumblings of a divide in the dev teams who run the crypto, so wait a bit is what im doing. Then again this is all quite unpredictable

Difficult one.... The upwards trends I did see was rapid and hectic. The price it's now at is the lowest i've seen in a couple of weeks. BUT, with the forks, spoons and knives comming - dunno....I'm sure most hopes for a moerse upwards climb.
 
Noob help needed

I want to create a paper wallet

Do i save all my different coins to the same private key / paper wallet ?

Can i send from bittrex to my paper wallet ?

How do i view what i have saved on my paper wallet

For now i want to basically just hang onto what i have and cash in once I'm a millionaire

Use an address generator like www.moneroaddress.org

no, addresses are not universal. if you send coin to an incorrect type of address it's gone.

I installed Exodus on my linux laptop last night (was easy).

Transfered my BTC into there (was pretty much instant) and set up my password, linked my email and got my 12 word recovery. What is nice about Exodus is that you can store Ether with it also, and what is even better is you can use it to convert between multiple crypto's, so I changed a little bit of my BTC to ether to see how it works. It took about 5 minutes to do. You press go and then it goes to a exchange or something and then sits there and then a few minutes later I saw my ether appear. :)

Glad there is now easy ways to store and convert these things. Not as daunting as it used to be.

I have yet to buy some currency - currently have a Luno, Blockchain, BitGo and Coinbase account created to check which one I like the best.. and looking to get me one of these as well:

Will see how current market goes before buying anything.. the platinum wealth website really helps a lot for us beginners!

Edit: Created Airbitz as well.. testing them all out :)

Waiting for btc to hit the floor, will happen due to the upcoming fork...

The buy when its at its lowest level and keep, next spike I'll be right on it.....

Given the recovery over the last few days I'm wondering if we will see the $1000 low predicted. I'm on the verge of buying back in again.. gonna give it 2 or 3 more days to see what the trend is like
