I can't see any reason you shouldn't use the classifieds.
Only because not everyone is interested in buying or selling cryptocurrencies - if it's just now and then and it's buying/selling for cash, the classifieds are fine but if it's ongoing trading of crypto currencies a dedicated section would be better - imagine being able to convert your btc to Eth, for example, without having to go through a third party... I guess there would be a security thing though, seeing as we're all anonymous here, might not be such a good idea afterall!

Should point them to their own article where they describe how they'll act during a hard fork

Luno Update.

https://www.luno.com/blog/en/post/bitcoin-cash-fork-update

Summary : If Bitcoin Cash survives the fork and has non-trivial value, they will provide a mechanism to withdraw Bitcoin Cash.

“non-trivial value” is if Bitcoin cash consistently trades:
above a level of 0.01 per BTC,
with more than 100 BTC of volume per day,
for a period of at least seven days,
on a reputable exchange

Is anybody still buying bitcoin at the current rate to get in before the split?

Rocketing towards R39 000 on Luno, I bought small amount while still considerably lower and transferred to Exodus. I think there will be plenty of time in the coming months to cash in on BCC at low rates should it look promising. For now people will probably convert their 'free' BCC to something else I guess. Happy to see my age-old sell orders going through on Luno though.

Do you guys know how we claim our BCC? I tried reading up on it, and from what I understand we need our private keys for our BTC, and I found how to get it on my Exodus wallet, but what to do with those private keys to claim BCC? I am confused and not very clued up when it comes to crypto.

Ah. I suppose that explains it. lol. One of my colleagues sent a support message about the zero balance and received the response "Sorry to hear that."

Find a wallet that supports BCH (its not BCC, this is an already existing coin). Select restore wallet, enter your private key and that's it
