That's why you send you BTC to Luno etc and then import your Exodus etc. secret key into Electrum cash to claim your BCC. People spreading FUD showing ignorance.

Uh, warning people about potential security issues is showing ignorance? Okay then.

BTW, transferring out your BTC will only protect your BTC. If you download a dodgy BCH wallet with a trojan - you'd still lose your BCH.

Which you got for free anyway...

Pray tell me why whould they then list it https://www.bitcoincash.org/.

Can anyone please guide me as to how to get my BCH from jaxx?

Jaxx has announced they will support it but given that there was barely a week's notice of the hard fork most of these wallets haven't had time to incorporate it.

You can, however, export your seed from Jaxx and import it into a BCH wallet. Just transfer your BTC out of the Jaxx wallet into another wallet first to ensure that the BTC component of your wallet seed cannot be compromised when you do this and also check carefully that the BCH wallet you use is legit as there are some scammers around.

I hate sounding like a n00b but seed?

It's just a set of words that can be used to generate your private key pairs on the blockchain. Originally if you wanted to export/import your wallet you had to extract and import all your private keys (every time you transact more private keys are created), but then they came up with a standard whereby a set of 12 words can be used to reference all your private keys.

Most wallets support this and allow you to view your seed or import a seed from another wallet. It must be kept secret as it can be used by anyone else to restore your wallet.

I heard the price of Bitcoin Cash was selling for about $900 at Bittrex while at the same time it was selling for about $500 at Kraken. If it's true, it's a huge arbitrage opportunity. I don't have Bittrex and Kraken. Is it true?

It's not much of an arbitrage opportunity as these exchanges aren't taking BCH deposits. So you can't buy BCH on Kraken and transfer to Bittrex.

I see...Hopefully there'll be an opportunity later.

Edit: I heard they are taking deposits, only that confirmations take as much as 6 hours. I stand to be corrected though as I don't know.

There is no reason to rush getting into BCH, imo, rather wait until the dust settles, get a better idea of support for it etc. If you had BTC when the split happened you'll be able to get your BCH at any time in the future - personally, I won't bother unless there is enough support for it to make it easy and worthwhile...

Yes, 100%. Look at the price difference between ViaBTC and Bittrex - pretty large. Once the exchanges allow deposits though, I would think the BCH price will dump, as everybody would want to get their free money to invest in something else...IMHO the Future for BCH looks pretty grim.

I cant help but think I am missing something here. I get home and somehow (still not clear how) get my BCC/BCH on Altcointrader sell it there and then (currently R13000). Money goes into my bank account which in-turn gets deposited into LUNO and I buy more BTC Sound about right?

Why would you wait for BCC to turn into dog ****?

I never used Altcointrader, so can't advise there. I just think it will be a race to sell as quickly as possible before the price of BCH/BCC tanks - as soon as BCC/BCH deposits open at any of the exchanges..

I got my BCH/BCC on Bittrex yesterday already. Not a lot though, I am mostly invested in Alts.

I've successfully used elelctron cash. Moved the bcc to altcoin. Took a while. Sold the bcc @14.5k

Was your BTC on Altcointrader before the split?
