I bought mine by:

1. Buy bitcoin on Luno
2. Download Exodus wallet (Very easy to use, and supports mutlple assests)
3. Transfer bitcoin to Exodus
4. Do a bitcoin to Ether swop

You can trade /buy here:
https://ice3x.co.za/

Not the worst platform, but slow as hell.

Could also just convert BTC to ETH with shapeshift.io or a wallet like exodus (works great).

Thanks boys

Everyone is going BTC crazy on here, since ANS has been rebranded to NEO and the team made their path clear to the world, it is steadily on the uptake. Glad that I went all in. My EOS on the other hand looks stagnated, but it is a process to eventually gain momentum, looking at the white paper (and real tech).

Looks lie cex.io is better?
At least they have both options and a mobile app?
Opinion?

That looks more like a exchange, and not a offline wallet. Similar to Luno. Exodus is a wallet where you are in control of your private keys. Exchanges from what I understand carries some risk if you leave your money or your coins with them.

Quick question, when buying on Luno, then transferring to Exodus, is there a big charge for it? Do they charge a big commission or percentage for doing it?

I personally prefer trading for the best price on an exchange as a maker. Lowest possible fees and you get the best price (depending on how patient you are). Like anything in life, you pay for convenience :)

BCH is a risk right now. One miner has three quarters of the hashing power. In theory, he can create an unlimited amount of coins and dump. Read up on the term "51% attack".

True, but I think that's one of the reasons why the exchanges are insisting on so many confirmations at the moment (up to 20 blocks) - even with a majority of hashing power, they can't reverse transactions in previous blocks. The difficulty is adjusting and at least one new miner has climbed on board so possibly things will change.
