China will not ban crypto. It's just clamping down on the ICO's protecting citizens from themselves.

That was the situation yesterday, but now it's different.

However, the wording of the PBoC edict also suggested that trading and usage of all cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, could now be illegal in China.

But we are not there yet, and the exact legislation will have to be interpreted and be decided upon. At the end of the day only ICOs may be affected, ICO's and some coins or ICO's and all coins.

Is the CVC a 2020 strategy? I have nothing but patience, just keen to hear your opinion on timeline...

He sure has done well for himself and he's not dumb. I'm good mates with his brother and still remember back in the day when they used to work in their dad's takeaway shop. Fantastic to see people move onwards and upwards.

Correct, hoping for $7 by Q3 2019 and $15 by Q3 2020. If it hits $20 then I will make rpm a offer to buy BusinessTech.

--- The above requires Civic's marketcap to be $20 Billion so going to be a push in 3 years time. Then again Ethereum did it in 2 months.

Yea, do not know him personally other than the odd whatsapp message here and there, but I respect him quite a bit, guy's a visionary.

The Chinese market was a bit crazy anyway, so I don't see their crypto crackdown as necessarily a bad thing in the long run. Besides, let's not forget that the only thing they can really crack down on is the local CNY exchanges. The Chinese government virtually stopped the massive BTC-CNY trade dead in its tracks back in January and yet the BTC-USD price more than quadrupled since then.

Why are there 10 places after the decimal for btc price?

Because there are 100 million Satoshi in 1 Bitcoin. You can technically buy R1 worth of Bitcoin if you wanted to (but the transaction/mining fees currently would make that pointless).

But bitcoin prices is quoted upto eight decimal places. If a coin is 100 sats it's 0.00000100. It's just confusing with the two extra decimals.
 
Price is still in the red at about 4000usd. Was expecting a steeper drop. Curious to see if it continues slowly down today or whether it levels out here for a while.

Waiting for Americans to wake up. As it was not a trading day yesterday it could get worse, I doubt below $3800 though. I'm primed and ready to go!

There definitely is a price premium in ZA, there are a number of reasons for that.
Remember that supply and demand is the only thing that determines the price :)
