As said so many times in this thread... Although probably not impossible to kill off bitcoin... It's here to stay!

How does the saying go about a tamed animal tasting blood? ;-)

Cool, but, how long does it take to pay the store? I mean when I move btc from one wallet to another it takes hours sometimes.

Luno tells me instantly I'm about to receive some BTC.

Transactions are instant, but confirming that they are legitimate to prevent double spending is not.

Merchants using BTC need to ensure double spending is not happening or they will lose $

Luno must be smiling with all the trade going on today. With their 1% fees, they made over R1million today from fees just from the small South African exchange. Imagine what the worldwide takings must be for the day. Worldwide fees received from people trading for the last few months must be in the billions.

That's how exchanges makes money.

Yeah they do and they're making a lot of it. Looking at Bitcoin alone, the average trading volume per month for the last 6 months worldwide across all exchanges was about 5mill. Say exchanges charge 1% fees and the average Bitcoin trade was $4000. Works out to $40x5= $20 million per month. It's a good business model. All they need to do is induce people to trade with news articles saying good/bad things about cryptocurrency and cash in from the frenetic trading afterwards.

Damn good business model.

Also SARS Hotspot as they are fully compliment so I use them as little as possible.

That looks odd. What price is that?

That's not Bitcoin's price.

Bitcoin Tracker One - SEK is an open-end Exchange Traded Note incorporated in Sweden. The ETN is denominated in SEK and provides investors with access to the returns of the underlying asset, US Dollar per bitcoin, less investor fees. The average USD exchange rate of bitcoin from the exchanges:- Bitfinex, Bitstamp and GDAX provides the underlying reference price which is converted into SEK.
